Robert Spezzano has held various roles in the field of education, starting as a Math Teacher at The Heathland School in 1992. Robert then progressed to roles such as Math Department Chair at Zurich International School, Upper School Head at Community Day Charter School, and Head of Intermediate Program at Exploration School, Inc. Their experience includes serving as a Director of Studies & Math Teacher at St. George's School and Head of Upper School at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School. Throughout their career, Robert has also taken on leadership roles such as Upper School Assistant Principal at Washington International School and Interim Middle School Head at Shady Hill School.
Robert Spezzano completed their Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies at Brown University from 1978 to 1982. Robert then pursued a Master of Education in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 1990 to 1991. In 2013 to 2015, they obtained a fellowship in International School Leadership from the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE). Additionally, they obtained a Qualified Teacher Status in Mathematics for ages 11-18 from the Department for Education in the United Kingdom in 1993.
