Rafiq then pursued a Diploma in Business Finance from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India in 1999, with a focus on Economics, Quantitative Methods, Merchant Banking and Financial Services, and Financial Management. Rafiq'slatest academic endeavor was a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology, focusing on Machine Learning and Data Science, which they pursued at Murdoch University from 2017 to 2021.
