Dean Dobberfuhl

Dean Dobberfuhl is the Bureau Chief at St. Johns River Water Management District, overseeing a team of 29 MS and PhD level scientists and implementing large-scale research and restoration programs since June 2008. Previous roles include Supervising Environmental Scientist and Technical Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed staff supervision, budget management, and coordination of interdisciplinary research projects focused on limnology, ecosystem ecology, and wetland restoration. Dobberfuhl holds a Ph.D. in biology/ecology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
