Michelle Reiber

Michelle Reiber is an experienced environmental professional, currently serving as the Bureau Chief of Environmental Resource Regulation at St. Johns River Water Management District since April 1989. In this role, Michelle oversees various environmental permitting programs and manages approximately 60 engineers, scientists, and administrative staff. Previous positions include Technical Program Manager for Mitigation Banking, where responsibilities encompassed managing a comprehensive mitigation banking program across an 18-county region, and Supervising Regulatory Scientist, overseeing environmental regulatory processes. Michelle's career began at CH2M HILL as an Environmental Scientist, focusing on ecological impacts of groundwater withdrawals. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida.
