Nate Sweeney has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Nate started their career in 2001 as an Intern/Medical Liaison/Assistant Program Manager at AIDS Interfaith Residential Services. From there, they worked as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2004. Nate then became a Research Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where they stayed until 2008. In 2009, they joined The Neighborhoods at St. Elizabeth, a Program of Catholic Charities, as a Neighborhood Guide/Administrator in Training. Nate later became a Senior Guide/Administrator at The Green House Residences at Stadium Place, another program of Catholic Charities in 2011. In 2012, Nate became an Assistant Administrator and Neighborhood Guide at The Neighborhoods at St. Elizabeth. Nate then moved on to Chase Brexton Health Care in 2014, where they served as the Executive Director of the LGBT Health Resource Center until 2018. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Skilled Services at St. John's Senior Services.
Nate Sweeney completed their M.A. in Management of Aging Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2008. Prior to that, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1997 to 2001, though no degree or field of study information was provided for this period.
