D Gene Kraus

D Gene Kraus is an ordained UCC minister and semi-retired professional with extensive experience in transitional ministry and community activism. Since April 2013, D Gene has served as an intentional transitional minister at St. John's United Church of Christ, facilitating healing and unity within a divided congregation. Prior roles include activism with Move to Amend Medina, aiming to limit corporate influence in politics, and leadership in the successful re-election campaign for President Obama as Medina Township Team Leader. D Gene also has a history of serving as an interim pastor at various UCC congregations, employing conflict management strategies and appreciative inquiry to foster congregational renewal. D Gene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Divinity in Theology from Andover Newton Theological School.
