Salar Badruddin is a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital of Tampa since July 2020 and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Previously, Badruddin was a Cardiac Intensive Care Clinical Instructor at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and completed a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at University Hospitals. Badruddin's training includes a Pediatric Residency at the University at Buffalo and medical education at Ross University School of Medicine, culminating in an MD degree. Academic qualifications also include fellowships in Cardiac Intensive Care and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and Case Western Reserve University, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Connecticut.
