John Maklary

John Maklary has extensive experience in the field of instructional technology and technology coordination. John began their career in 1998 as a Technology Coordinator for the Oakridge School District #76, where they managed technology and network infrastructure for a four building school district. John also provided desktop support for over 200 client computers and managed a distance learning classroom. In 2005, they moved to John Paul II Catholic School and served as their Technology Coordinator until 2008. John then joined St. Laurence Catholic School as the Director of Instructional Technology.

John Maklary has a Master's degree in Education from Oregon State University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin between 1985 and 1988. In 1984 and 1985, they studied music at Houston Christian University, but did not obtain a degree during that period.
