Emma Burroughs

Emma Burroughs is an experienced professional with a strong background in community resource coordination and event management. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Community Living at St. Louis Arc since October 2021, Emma provides independent living skills training and advocates for individuals' needs with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Coordinator of Special Events at Washington University in St. Louis, where Emma managed logistics for high-profile events, and Administrative Assistant II, providing support to senior leadership. Emma's earlier experience at St. Louis Arc and The Missouri Department of Mental Health involved direct support and advocacy for individuals with developmental and mental health challenges. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Education and TESOL from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
