Mike Turner

Mike Turner has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as the Head of Humanities and Social Sciences at St Mary's Anglican Girls' School since January 2012. Previously, Mike was a member of the Course Advisory Committee for Modern History at the School Curriculum and Standards Authority from February 2007 to December 2022. Other notable roles include Secondary Teacher and Head of House at Perth College and participation in the Australian Curriculum History consultation and trialling with ACARA. Mike began a teaching career at All Saints' College and holds a Bachelor of Education in History from Curtin University, completed between 1988 and 1991.
