Jim Storey

Jim Storey is a seasoned professional in the cement industry, currently serving as Senior Corporate Project Manager at Votorantim Cimentos - St Marys Cement since January 2001. With a robust career spanning over three decades, Jim has held various leadership roles including Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Electrical Maintenance Manager, overseeing critical functions at a 5,800tpd plant. Experience also includes serving as Senior Process Engineer, responsible for process engineering staff and production management as needed. Prior to Votorantim, Jim was an Electrical and Process Control Project Manager at Blue Circle Cement, where responsibilities included factory testing of large motors and presenting at international conferences. Jim's career began at St Marys Cement as Electrical Supervisor, contributing to the commissioning of a new cement kiln, and includes experience as an instructor at Fleming College. Jim holds multiple degrees from Fleming College in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology.
