Sarah Bartenstein

Sarah Bartenstein has extensive experience in communications, starting in 1986 at The Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, where they served as the Executive for Communication and Diocesan Events until 1998. Sarah then joined Commonwealth Public Broadcasting as the Director of Communications from 1998 to 2005, where they oversaw media and community relations, brand management, case development, messaging, event planning, and team supervision. Since 2005, Sarah has been the Director of Communications at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where they are responsible for developing and managing strategic communications, introducing social media, and overseeing the development of a new website.

Sarah Bartenstein attended Hollins University from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. During their time at Hollins University, they focused on studying English and also took extensive coursework in philosophy, religion, and studio art.
