Rusty Smith has extensive experience in various educational and social service roles, currently serving as a Transition Advocate at New Lexington High School since February 2020. Previously, Rusty has worked as a QMHS at St. Vincent Family Center, supporting at-risk children. Additional experience includes a brief position as a Customer Support Specialist at Teletech Corporation, an Account Executive at Perry County Tribune managing multimedia projects, and an ABLE Instructor at Perry Hocking ESC. Rusty's early career includes roles as a Foster Care Adoption Assessor at Perry County Children Services and a Substance Abuse Counselor at Perry Behavioral Health Choices. Rusty holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Education and Applied Science from Ohio University.
