David Jones

David Jones has extensive experience in consumer representation and strategic sourcing across various organizations. As the Chair of St Vincent’s Community Advisory Committee from 2021 to 2023, David led efforts to advocate for community input in hospital services. In a recent role as Lead Strategic Sourcing Specialist at the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, David negotiated with suppliers to advance high-value procurement initiatives. Prior roles include managing commercial programs at the Department of Transport and serving as a Safety Fellow at Safer Care Victoria, where David contributed to reducing heart failure patient readmissions. David has also held various positions in vendor and contract management across multiple organizations, achieving significant budget savings and enhancing stakeholder engagement.
