Jesper Engstrand

Jesper Engstrand has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Jesper is currently the Head of New Business Development at St1 Sverige AB. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of Arete AB, where they provided business development, project management, and sales support consultancy services in various energy markets such as wind power, LNG, biogas, hydrogen, and natural gas. Starting in 2010, Jesper worked as a Business Development Manager at Swedegas AB, focusing on market and business development within the gas industry, particularly in LNG development. Before that, they were a Key Account Manager at DONG Energy AB, where they successfully built a customer portfolio and managed natural gas sales to industrial customers. Their career started at Nova Naturgas AB as a Key Account Manager, where they conducted sales of natural gas to industrial customers and actively participated in the unbundling process of the gas market.

Jesper Engstrand completed their Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering at Umeå University from 1993 to 1997. Later, in 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in MBA at Chalmers University of Technology. Before that, from 1989 to 1992, Jesper attended De La Gardie gymnasiet, where they studied a 4-year Technical Line with a specialization in Machinery.
