Greg Horn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and systems architecture within the aerospace and robotics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Stack AV, Greg leads trajectory generation and motion control efforts, following a role as Motion Control Engineer. Previous positions include Systems Architect at Everyday Robots, where Greg enhanced a long-standing robotics system architecture, and Advanced Flight Solutions Lead at Joby Aviation, directing R&D for unconventional aircraft. Greg was instrumental in developing software and control systems for autonomous eVTOL aircraft at Kitty Hawk, and contributed to trajectory optimization for energy kites at Google X (Makani). Earlier roles include development work in flight control systems for eVTOL prototypes at Joby Energy, and foundational research in UAV development at the Autonomous Systems Lab. Greg's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University and studies toward a PhD in Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven.
