Elena Hirjoaba

Elena Hirjoaba is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in both frontend and backend development. Currently employed at StackFuel since January 2022, Elena has previously worked at ecosearch and ecotrek, where skills in building Django REST APIs, developing data import packages for MongoDB, and managing deployments on Heroku were honed. Earlier experiences include a Python trainee position at Frauenloop focusing on data analysis and a series of internships at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence, which provided expertise in data preprocessing, video analysis, and research methodologies. Elena holds a Master of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Vienna and additional degrees in Cognitive Science and Psychology from Comenius University in Bratislava and the University of Bucharest, respectively.
