Jan van Cauwenberge

Jan Van Cauwenberge is an experienced accountant currently working at Stad Gent since December 2019. Concurrently, Jan serves as Secretary for the European Lacrosse Federation since September 2014. Jan has a diverse background in the Belgian Lacrosse Federation, holding multiple roles including Competition Director, President, and General Manager from September 2009 to June 2023. Additional experience includes co-founding and serving as Engagement Officer at Fan Arena and founding SneakersGames VOF. Jan also worked as Administrative Coordinator for Vlaamse Baseball & Softball Liga and held various leadership positions at Ghent Goblins, including Vice President Men and President. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at Stone Internet Services bvba. Jan holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Ghent University, a Post Graduate in Sports, Economics & Communication from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a bookkeeping certification from VDAB. Jan’s educational background also includes a high school degree in Greek - Latin from Sint Barbara college.
