Nikolay Genovelov

Nikolay Genovelov is a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in applications automation, virtualization, and deployment, currently employed by the City of Vienna since April 2022. Previously, Nikolay served as a Senior Operation and Administration Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from December 2015 to March 2022, managing a range of technologies including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization solutions, while also leading incident management and providing technical expertise. Prior roles include positions as an IT Analyst at C3i Europe, a Customer Service and On-Site Technician at Unisys Germany GmbH, a System Administrator at GSV Service GmbH, and Team Lead for the Technical Support Team at MusicGenome Ltd. Nikolay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik from Goethe University Frankfurt, earned between 2005 and 2011.
