Dr. Andreas Lang

Dr. Andreas Lang has extensive work experience in the field of information security, starting from their current role as Global Head of Information Security at Staffbase in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager IT-Security at Akka Technologies from November 2021 to March 2022.

Dr. Andreas'sprevious role at T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH, where they worked from August 2008 to November 2021, showcased their expertise as a Senior IT-Security Consultant & Program Manager. During this time, they held various responsibilities such as IT-Security Officer, CISO, Trainer for IT-security awareness training, and Lead Auditor for ISO 27001.

Before joining T-Systems, Dr. Lang worked as a Researcher in Multimedia and IT-Security at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg from October 2002 to August 2008. Dr. Andreas also gained experience as a Freelancer at a&o iTec GmbH and Quota GmbH, and as a Research Scientist at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.

(FH) degree in Informatik from Hochschule Anhalt, graduating in 2000. In 2004, they also attended Purdue University for a computer science program at the VIPER Lab. Dr. Lang has additional certifications in various fields including CISA, Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001:2013, CISSP, Foundation in Information Security Management Systems according to ISO/IEC 27001, and ITIL v3 Foundation.
