Daniel Pye has a diverse work experience starting from 2009 as a Trainee Accountant/Bookkeeper at Tax Express and then as a High School Tutor. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Deloitte Australia, followed by an Experienced Analyst role from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they took a career break to work as a Teacher at Language Link Russia, focusing on skills development, education, and cultural discovery. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Business Development Manager at NGO Photographers Alliance, formulating business strategy and developing partnerships. From 2016 onwards, they joined Stafford Capital Partners, initially as the Group Financial Controller (Phaunos Timber Fund Limited), followed by roles such as Chief Financial Officer (Acting), Finance Manager & Investment Professional, Investment Associate, and currently as a Vice President.
Daniel Pye has a diverse education history. Daniel completed the Chartered Financial Analyst Program from the CFA Institute in 2018-2019. In 2012-2015, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2014, Daniel obtained a CELTA certificate from the Australian TESOL Training Centre, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney from 2009-2011. In 2008, they briefly attended Macquarie University, studying for a Bachelor of Applied Finance/Bachelor of Law with a focus in Law and Finance. Daniel's education journey began with a High School Certificate from Saint Paul's Catholic College, Greystanes, where they studied from 2002-2007.
