Oli Barnes

Oli Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Oli is currently working at Stagecoach Group plc as the Head of Data, Integration & BI, where they lead the data team. Prior to this role, they worked at the same company as the Technical Lead - Data Warehouse. In 2018, Oli took a sabbatical and worked as a Solution Architect/Retail Lead System Architect. Before that, they were employed at Marks and Spencer as the Lead System Architect, responsible for system architecture and data analytics in the M&S Foods estate. Oli also has experience working at Quantum Retail Technology as a Senior Technical Lead/Retail Technical Consultant, where they focused on providing retail supply chain optimization and analytic solutions. Oli started their career as the owner of OBE Technology Ltd and later worked at B. Dixon-Bate Ltd in various roles, including business and strategic development, IT management, and financial control.

Oli Barnes attended Malvern College from 1990 to 1995. Oli then pursued a MEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Bristol from 1996 to 2000.
