Dr. Colin Pinto

Colin Pinto's work experience includes various roles in the academic and hospitality industry. Colin started at Stamford International University in 2013 and held positions such as Assistant President - Academic Affairs, Associate Dean - Faculty of Business & Technology, and Assistant Dean - Hospitality. Colin also served as a Director of Undergraduate Studies and Director of IHM - Faculty BBA. Prior to that, he worked at Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Tianjin, China as the Director of Studies and Chef Instructor/Lecturer. Colin has experience as an Executive Chef at Planet Hollywood International and Chef Manager at Whassan Eurest Nigeria Limited. Colin began their career at Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, where they worked as a Sous Chef and Management Trainee - Kitchen.

Colin Pinto completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management at Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal. Colin then pursued a Post Graduate in Hotel Operations at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School. Later, they attended the University of Wollongong, where they earned a Master of Education in the field of Education. Colin then went on to complete his PhD in Education. Colin looks after the undergraduate academic operations of 2 of Stamford's campuses and takes pride in being a mentor to the Student Council, and any other student seeking academic guidance.
