Roman Ortega Bianchi has a long and varied work experience. Roman began working in 1998 as an Assistant to Commercial Director at DESLER S.A., where they were responsible for customer services, controlling mercury remediation in Argentina, and supervising motor oil recycling contracts. In 2002, they joined The Environmental Quality Company as an International Business Development, enlarging "Household Hazardous Waste" programs in the Tampa Bay Area and starting up "Household Hazardous Waste" programs for Argentina and Lab Packing business units for Argentina. Roman also held the position of Operations Project Coordinator, managing transportation, treatment, recycling, and final disposal of hazardous waste for the largest US retailer, and Rotational Program & International Account Executive, responsible for connecting US based companies to their Argentine counterparts. In 2008, they worked as a Marketing Strategy at Eli Lilly and Company, and in 2009 they became a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for driving strategy into the market in Argentina for Diabetes, Oncology, Human Growth Hormone, and Psychiatric Disorders (CNS). Roman was also a Commercial and Cross Indication Manager, maximizing sales in Rheumatoid Arthritis and executing brand activities according to the brand plan, as well as a Strategic Immunology Manager, building and leading the Humira Pediatrics Business Unit with 300% growth in 4 months from launching the BU. In 2015, they joined AbbVie as a Senior Sales Manager and in 2020, they became a Business Consultant for Self-employed, consulting for Tier 3 pharmaceutical companies in Argentina. Roman currently holds the position of Head Of BD & Commercial Strategy at Stämm Biotech.

Roman Ortega Bianchi received their Bachelor of Arts in Business from Universidad de Belgrano in 1999. Roman then went on to pursue an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, which they completed in 2009.
