Katie Watson Butts

Katie Watson Butts is a seasoned human resources leader with extensive experience in HR functions across various organizations, currently serving at Stand Together since April 2019. In this role, Katie leads HR for multiple business units, partnering with organizational leaders to enhance talent strategies and succession planning. Prior to Stand Together, Katie held various HR roles at the Charles Koch Institute, including Human Resources Generalist and Junior Human Resources Generalist, where initiatives included talent acquisition and supervisor training. Earlier experience includes a Regional Admissions Counselor position at the University of Mississippi and roles in external relations at the Charles Koch Institute, demonstrating a strong background in recruitment, onboarding, and relationship-building. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy Leadership and Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi.
