Mike Danylak has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and politics. Mike is currently working as the Director of Communications at Stand Together since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President at CGCN Group from February 2022 to January 2023. Mike has also worked in the United States Senate, where they held various roles such as Communications Director from January 2021 to February 2022 and from February 2017 to January 2021, and Press Secretary from March 2015 to January 2017. Before their Senate experience, they served as the Press Secretary at the American Action Forum from May 2013 to February 2015. Additionally, Mike worked with the Republican National Committee as the Rapid Response Warroom Director from April 2011 to May 2013, and as the Deputy Director of the Rapid Response Warroom from February 2010 to December 2010. Mike also had an earlier period of experience in the United States House of Representatives as a Legislative Correspondent. Mike started their career as an intern at the Office of Congressman Peter Roskam (R-IL 06) in 2009 and at the Office of Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) in 2008.
Mike Danylak earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in History from Houghton University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also completed a certificate program in Faith and Politics at the American Studies Program CCCU.
