Ericson Assis has extensive work experience in project management and IT roles. Ericson has worked as the Head of Programme and Project Management (PMO) and Head of Agile Project Delivery at Standard Bank Angola, where they led and facilitated planning sessions and played a key role in developing the business unit's strategy. Prior to that, they were the PMO Manager and Project Manager at 3GS Soluções, SA, where they implemented project management methodologies and successfully delivered projects within timelines and budget. Ericson also worked as a Network and System Administrator at the Embassy of Angola in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, where they managed and maintained the organization's IT infrastructure.
Ericson Assis has a diverse education history. Ericson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. Ericson also pursued a Post-Graduate in Management for Information Technology at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Ontario College Diploma in Computer Programming from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, which they acquired from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they studied Business Computing at the University of Greenwich from 2010 to 2011, earning a BSc degree.
In terms of certifications, Ericson has acquired various notable qualifications. Ericson obtained certifications such as "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals," "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner," and "Project Management Professional (PMP)®" in 2021 and 2019 respectively. Ericson also has certifications in "Adaptive Leadership for VUCA Challenges," "Digital Transformation," and "Agile with Atlassian Jira," among others. These certifications showcase their commitment to continuously enhance their skills and stay updated in their professional field.
