Nelson Ferreira CA(SA) holds extensive experience in credit risk management, particularly within the home loans sector at Standard Bank Group, where roles have included Head of Home Loans Collections Credit and Head of Affordable Housing Credit since 2016. Prior to these positions, Nelson served as Head of Securitizations and SAHL Credit, Senior Manager of Capital Management, and Middle Manager of Credit Finance, focusing on various aspects of credit and finance management. Nelson began the professional journey at Grant Thornton as a Trainee Accountant, completing articles in three years and passing the board qualifying exams on the first attempt. Nelson earned a B.Com Accounting (Honours) degree from RAU between 1998 and 2002.
