John Dorcas

John Dorcas has over 25 years of experience in the creative industry. John began their career in 1991 as a Merchandising Artist at Gear for Sports. In 1996, they moved on to become an Art Director at Fossil. In 2000, they were hired as a Senior Designer at Abercrombie & Fitch. In 2003, they worked as a Senior Designer at Ron Foth Advertising and a Design Director at Hollister Co. In 2005, they became a Creative Director and Partner at Corduroy. In 2007, they were hired as a Creative Manager at Payless ShoeSource, where they designed and relaunched over twenty Payless private label brands. In 2011, they were hired as a Senior Art Director at American Eagle Outfitters Inc., where they were responsible for creating, designing and activating on-garment marketing and packaging. Finally, in 2019, they were hired as a Design Director at Standard Black, specializing in brand identity, graphic design and packaging.

John Dorcas attended Pittsburg State University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology (BST) in Graphic Design.
