Amitava Ray is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in international banking and wealth management. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Team Head of International Banking at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, Amitava leads the Global South Asia Markets for Priority Private and Priority Clients, overseeing a team of experienced bankers. Previously, Amitava held various senior positions at HSBC, including Senior Vice President and Market Head for Indonesia, where responsibilities included developing offshore banking markets and managing wealth management for Ultra High Networth and High Networth individuals. Amitava's educational background includes a Master of Science in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University, as well as specialized programs in Sustainable Asset Management and Leadership Development from Yale and macroeconomic studies from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
