Diego De Giorgi

Diego De Giorgi is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Standard Chartered Bank since September 2023. Previously, Diego held the position of Co-Chief Executive Officer at Pegasus Europe from April 2021 to May 2023 and served as a Non Executive Director at UniCredit from April 2020 to April 2021. Diego's extensive background in investment banking includes roles as Global Head of Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where Diego worked from January 2013 to February 2019, and as a Partner at Goldman Sachs from April 1994 to June 2012, focusing on European Equity Capital Markets and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Global Investment Banking. Diego began the career as an Analyst at Wasserstein Perella and holds a CEMS Master Degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi.
