Shankar Hari

Shankar Hari is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in credit structuring and sales within the financial sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Credit Structuring at Standard Chartered Bank since August 2015, Shankar also leads ASA Structuring. Prior to this role, Shankar held the position of Executive Director at JP Morgan from March 2007 to July 2015, overseeing sales in Singapore and Vietnam and leading FX Product initiatives across Asia Ex-Japan. Shankar began a career in structuring at Deutsche Bank from 1996 to 2007 as a Director. Shankar's educational background includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Finance and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
