Jonatan Karjus

Jonatan Karjus is an accomplished executive and communications professional with a strong background in leadership, corporate communications, and the furniture industry. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard since April 2023, Jonatan leads one of Estonia's oldest furniture brands, which has evolved into an international master brand. Additionally, as a Member of the Management Board at Avila Furniture, Jonatan has successfully increased turnover by 2.5 times within two years. Previous experience includes a Senior Manager role at Meta Advisory Group, where Jonatan focused on corporate communications, and a Communications Strategist position at Kommunikatsioonibüroo Verba, organizing major international sports events. Early career highlights include reporting for Postimees Grupp and serving as Development Manager for Eesti Reformierakond. Jonatan holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Government from Tallinn University.
