Greg Darnell has extensive experience in power and performance evaluation, starting as Principal Engineer at Amdahl Corporation from July 1978 to August 1994. Darnell then served as Staff Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from March 1996 to March 1999, followed by a role as Lead Engineer at Dell from 1999 to 2012. In July 2013, Darnell worked as a Consultant at ARM, focusing on power/performance testing for ARM-based servers, and later served as an Intel Contract Employee at Intel Corporation from September 2014 to September 2018, specializing in server power efficiency. Since 1996, Darnell has also contributed as a Volunteer Power/performance Fanatic at Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation.
