Alexandra Chana Fishman

Alexandra Chana Fishman has a diverse work experience in various research and educational roles. Alexandra Chana is currently working as the Director of Data and Analytics at StandWithUs since March 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Research and Data Manager at StandWithUs from August 2022 to February 2023.

In 2022, Fishman also worked as a Research Fellow at the ISGAP - Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy.

From 2019 to 2022, they were a PHD student and Graduate Professor (Adjunct) at Yeshiva University. Their dissertation focused on secondary data analysis of antisemitism and religious discrimination on college campuses.

Fishman worked as an Independent Consultant at Apple for a brief period in June 2023.

Alexandra Chana was also an Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn College from January 2017 to January 2023.

Other roles include being a Research Assistant at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work Criminal Justice Social Work Project from October 2021 to August 2022.

In 2022, Fishman presented at a conference on Religious Discrimination and Anti-Semitism at the University of Cambridge.

From July 2020 to October 2021, they contributed to the Wurzweiler School of Social Work COVID-19 Data Project.

Additionally, Fishman served as an Adjunct Professor at Touro College from July 2015 to July 2020 and held a Visiting Professor position at Cegep in December 2017.

Alexandra Chana Fishman has an extensive education history. Alexandra Chana obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Touro University in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Teaching Certificate in Advanced Judaic Philosophy from the Moreshet Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies in 2010. Starting in 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Work at New York University before transferring to Touro College, where they completed a Master of Arts in Judaic Studies in 2019. Alexandra Chana then went on to pursue a PhD in Social Work at Yeshiva University from 2019 to 2022. In 2021, Fishman participated in the University of Oxford's Summer Institute in Critical Anti-Semitism Studies. Fishman's educational journey began with their attending Beth Jacob Elementary School until 2003, and they later graduated from Beth Jacob High School in an unspecified year.
