Erich Smith

Erich Smith has been working in the hotel industry for over 35 years. Erich began their career at Marriott International in 1983, where they worked their way up from Front Office Manager to Director of Operations. In 1995, they left Marriott to become the General Manager of the Sheraton St. Louis City Center. Erich later held General Manager positions at the Sheraton Suites Galleria Atlanta and the Westin Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2001, they returned to Marriott as the Director of Operations for the Marriott Financial Center in New York. Erich has been with Stanford Hotels Corporation since 2004 and is currently their VP of Operations.

Erich Smith's educational career includes a BS in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Erich has focused their studies in the field of business and has developed strong skills in this area.

Erich Smith reports to Lawrence Lui, President. They are on a team with Tracey Holloway - VP, Human Resources, Shane Keener - VP, Marketing, and Paul Mohun - SVP & General Counsel.
