James Lawlor

James joined Stanhope Capital in 2022 as Head of Real Estate and has 17 years of experience, within both domestic and overseas real estate markets.

He was formerly an investment director at Aviva Investors, focussing on UK and continental European markets. In that period James was responsible for over £1.5bn of transactional activity, focussing on investment strategy, product origination and deal execution.

Prior to that James spent 11 years within the real estate capital markets division at Cushman & Wakefield, specialising in commercial advisory and agency across all mainstream market sectors.

James is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Masters in Real Estate, along with a B.A. Honours in Geography.
