Victoria Stanhope

Victoria Stanhope has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Victoria is currently the President & CEO of Stanhope Simpson Insurance Ltd, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Victoria served as the President and VP Stanhope Insurance & Commercial Insurance Specialist at the same company since 2003. Stanhope Simpson Insurance is a family-owned business and a leading insurance broker in Atlantic Canada, specializing in commercial insurance and surety bonding solutions for industries such as construction, development, seafood, and hospitality. In 2007, Victoria briefly worked in commercial underwriting at RSA. Overall, Victoria Stanhope has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in risk management and customer service throughout their career in the insurance industry.

Victoria Stanhope's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Saint Mary's University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. During the same period, they also pursued a Fellowship Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) degree with a focus on Risk Management from The Insurance Institute of Canada. Prior to this, Victoria completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology & Business from Saint Mary's University, which they earned from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, they participated in the "Making Partner" Executive Development Program at Queen's University's Queen's School of Business. Victoria also completed the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) program with a specialization in Independent Broker Major from The Insurance Institute of Canada in 2007-2008. Additionally, Victoria obtained a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) credential from the University of Toronto. In 2017, they attended the Ivey Business School at Western University's QuantumShift Program, an Executive Leadership Program.
