Paul Botha

Paul Botha is currently working as a Senior Quantitative Developer at STANLIB since February 2022. Prior to this, Paul held various positions at Absa Group from May 2008 to January 2022, including Data Scientist in Front Office Analytics and Chief Data Office. Paul's roles involved using data science techniques to provide actionable insights for sales strategies and risk management. Paul was also a Solutions Specialist at Absa CIB, focusing on financial modeling and debt transactions. Paul began their career as a Trainee Accountant and Audit Manager at the Auditor General of South Africa from January 2005 to May 2008. Paul holds a BCom (Hons) in Accounting Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria.
