Richard Vitkus

Richard Vitkus is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in eCommerce and software engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of eCommerce and Order Management System Engineering at Staples since September 2022, Richard manages a global team dedicated to B2B and B2C technology initiatives. Prior to this role, Richard held senior leadership positions at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where responsibilities included building a large engineering team and developing critical systems for sales enablement, as well as directing enterprise architecture practices. Richard began career as Manager of eCommerce Application Services at Circuit City, where significant contributions were made to omni-channel architecture and project management. Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
