Jodie Murphy

Jodie Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1988, they worked as the Professional Development & OD Manager at the Institute of Public Accountants, where they represented over 35,000 members. From 2004 to 2011, Jodie held various roles at CPA Australia, including National Learning & Development Executive and Business Development and Marketing Executive. Jodie then joined Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs as the Group HR Manager for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing six clubs in Australia and New Zealand. In 2017, Jodie became the Chief People Officer at Star Pharmacy Group, responsible for driving people and culture initiatives across the organization. Following that, they worked at OZ Minerals as the Group Manager - Talent and later as the Group Manager of Organisation Effectiveness. Currently, Jodie holds the position of Head of People & Culture at Silentium Defence, contributing their expertise to the company's HR strategies and operations.

Jodie Murphy's education history begins with a degree in Business, specializing in Marketing, from the University of South Australia. Afterwards, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Business from TAFE SA between 1997 and 2000. In 2007, Jodie completed their Masters of Business (MBA) at the Australian Institute of Management.

Moving forward in their education, in 2017, they obtained certification as a Certified Business Agility Practitioner (XBA) from the XSCALE Alliance. In 2018 and 2019, they engaged in further learning by studying Complex Decision Making & Vertical Development at Lectica® Inc. Recently, in 2021, Jodie became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through Scrum Alliance.

Additionally, Jodie has obtained several certifications beyond their formal education. In 2017, they obtained the XBA - Business Agility Practitioner certification from XSCALE Alliance. In 2020, they earned the Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) certification and, most recently, in February 2022, they completed the Growth Edge Coaching - Cultivating Leadership certification from Growth Edge Coaching.
