Hoong Han Leong

Hoong Han Leong serves as Associate Director and Associate Principal Engineer (Verification) at StarFive Technology Co., Ltd. since May 2021, where responsibilities include expanding the DV team to over 20 members and delivering high-quality in-house IPs, such as Coherent NOC and RISC-V Memory Protection. Prior to this role, Hoong Han held various positions at Intel Corporation from April 2017 to April 2021, including Verification Technical Lead, focusing on DV strategy and methodologies, and Verification Manager for PCIe IP projects. Hoong Han's earlier experience includes roles at Altera and Intel, where expertise in UVM testbench framework and full-chip SOC verification was developed. Hoong Han holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universiti Malaya, completing studies there from 2001 to 2005.
