Jacques Grange

Jacques Grange is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Principal System Design Engineer at Starkey Hearing since January 2023, focusing on enhancing hearing aid technology. Prior to this role, Jacques spent nearly eight years at Cardiff University as a Lecturer and Research Associate, concentrating on improving speech intelligibility for cochlear implant users, backed by a Doctorate funded by Action on Hearing Loss and subsequent research funded by Oticon Fonden. Jacques has extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors, having held various managerial positions at SPTS Technologies Ltd and Surface Technology Systems, where responsibilities included new product verification and development, as well as process optimization for wafer and etching technologies. Jacques's academic background includes multiple advanced degrees, culminating in a PhD in Hearing Perception from Cardiff University and a strong foundation in Material Physics from INSA Lyon.
