Nicky Wade

Nicky Wade has held several positions in the finance and IT sectors over the past 25 years. In 2020, they joined the Starlight Children's Foundation as the Director of Finance & Resources. From 2015 to 2020, they were the Director of Finance & IT at Nightingale Hammerson. From 2007 to 2015, they were the Chief Finance Officer at British Military Fitness, where they were the business partner and chief advisor to the CEO and had ultimate responsibility for all financial, human resources, IT, systems, Company Secretarial and regulatory matters. Nicky was also a Steering Committee member on industry body projects. From 1995 to 2007, they held the positions of Audit Manager, Audit Senior, and Audit Supervisor at F. W. Smith, Riches & Co.

Nicky Wade attended Westcliff High School for Girls from 1981 to 1988. Nicky then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering at Newcastle University from 1989 to 1992. In 2005, they obtained their FCA certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
