Oliver Speake

Oliver Speake is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and market risk. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Starling Bank since September 2024, Oliver previously held the position of Head of Liquidity Portfolio Management at Close Brothers from May 2022 to September 2024. Prior roles include Traded Credit - Market Risk at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the CFO Division at Santander UK. Oliver's career began at Barclays as a Credit Analyst, and prior to that, Oliver worked at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking focusing on insurance and structured products. Oliver holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, earned from 2006 to 2009.
