Joelle Labrecque

Joelle Labrecque is currently serving as the Legal and Compliance Director at Starr Private Equity Partners since November 2022. Prior to this role, Joelle held various positions at Starr Insurance Companies, including Legal Manager and Legal Analyst for Investments from April 2019 to November 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Corporate Governance Specialist at Hearst from March 2017 to April 2019, and as a Legal Affairs Associate at Colony NorthStar, Inc. from March 2015 to February 2017. Joelle began a legal career as a Legal Assistant at Grant, Herrmann, Schwartz & Klinger LLP, with a tenure in 2011-2015, and also worked as a Professor and Researcher at Universidad del Istmo. Educationally, Joelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Smith College.
