Ciaran Gallagher

Ciaran Gallagher has a diverse work experience in the software development field. In 2010, they completed a year-long internship at Singularity Ltd., where they served as a Placement Software Developer. During this time, they took on the role of technical lead on the test automation team.

In 2012, Ciaran completed a summer internship at 8over8, where they focused on test automation and setting up remote testing processes using MS Visual Studio agents.

In 2013, they joined Citi as an IT Graduate Associate, participating in the Citi Technology Academy. After completing the academy, they worked as an Application Developer - Intermediate Programmer Analyst in the AMC Shared Services team. Here, they played a crucial role in the development of the Customer Information System and a Java mobile approval project.

From 2015 to 2017, Ciaran worked as a Software Engineer at Civica, contributing to various projects.

Following this, they joined Ecom Software Limited in 2017 as a Software Developer, where they primarily worked on projects involving ASP.NET MVC 5.0 and ASP.

In 2020, Ciaran joined Applied Systems as a Software Developer and continued in that role until 2022.

Currently, Ciaran is employed as a Full Stack Software Developer at StarRez, Inc., starting in 2022.

Ciaran Gallagher began their education in 2001 at St. Columb's College, where they completed their primary and secondary education. In 2008, they enrolled at Queen's University Belfast and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, which they completed in 2013. During their time at Queen's University Belfast, Ciaran Gallagher also attended the University of Jamestown for a year, focusing on Business Administration and Management in 2011-2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Ciaran Gallagher obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft. In 2018, they successfully completed Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications. In 2019, they attained the MCSA: Web Applications certification and also passed Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3. Additionally, in the same year, Ciaran Gallagher obtained the MCSD: App Builder certification.
