Gene Gerke

Gene Gerke has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Gene is currently the President of Gerke & Associates, a consulting firm that provides strategic planning, organization change, profit improvement, business process improvement, benchmarking, and technology application services to clients. Gene has held this role since August 1977.

In addition to their work at Gerke & Associates, Gene has been involved in various other ventures. Gene served as a Board of Directors member for Tensive Controls, Inc. (dba Endevica Bio) since June 2016, where they contributed to the development of therapeutic peptides. Gene also co-founded Start Right Foods in October 2015.

Gene has held positions on the Board of Directors for Lunds & Byerlys, a privately held firm, since January 2009. Gene has been a Co-President of Centennial Investors since July 2007. Gene is a member of the Board of Directors for the Women's Investment Network for Entrepreneurs since October 2021.

Furthermore, Gene has been actively involved in promoting innovation and research. Gene served on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Innovation Center since October 1989, supporting the translation of research innovations into technologies, products, processes, and ventures. Gene was also on the University of Missouri Research & Development Advisory Board as a Board Member from February 2013 to September 2017.

Gene's prior experience includes co-founding CSX LLC in January 2001, an internet-based business and financial benchmarking system for the petroleum and convenience wholesale and retail industries. Gene held this role until April 2010.

Additionally, Gene has served on the Board of Directors for Agents National Title Insurance Company from May 2015 to February 2018. Through their diverse roles and experiences, Gene has demonstrated a strong commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.

Gene Gerke obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they attended from 1968 to 1972. Gene then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree at Purdue University from 1972 to 1974. The specific field of study for both degrees is not provided.
