Jorge Papel

Jorge Papel is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in various roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at StarTech.com since January 2011, Jorge has also held positions such as Developer and Technical Advisor within the same organization. Previously, Jorge worked as the Executive Escalations Manager for North America at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications from October 2009 to September 2010 and served as a Sr Support Representative at Stream International from July 2003 to October 2009. Early in the career, Jorge contributed as a Web Developer at Conestoga-Rovers & Associates in 2002 and as a Developer at Danis Communications in 2000. Jorge pursued education at the University of Waterloo - St. Jerome's University, completing studies from 1999 to 2002, and is currently enrolled at Athabasca University since 2009.
