Ken Tamura, MBA/CPA, has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Ken has held various leadership roles in finance and accounting, contributing to the growth and success of different companies.

In their current position as Head of Finance at StarTree since October 2022, they are responsible for building the global finance organization, optimizing cash investments, streamlining business processes, and delivering SaaS-based financial modeling insights to the management team.

Previously, as Head of FP&A at Alation from December 2020 to October 2022, Ken led the global financial planning and analysis team, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting.

Before that, as Vice President Finance at Qubole from June 2016 to December 2020, they played a crucial role in building the global finance organization, optimizing cash investments, and implementing financial systems.

Prior to their time at Qubole, Ken served as Vice President Finance at Airware from June 2014 to May 2016, where they built the finance team organization, supported equity and debt financing, and implemented accounting and forecasting systems.

Ken also has experience working as a Contract CFO and Senior Financial Advisor at the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee from January 2014 to April 2016. Ken's earlier career includes roles at Autodesk, where they served as Director of Strategic Planning & Analytics, and at Scient Corporation (later acquired by Razorfish), where they were the Director Finance - Controller.

Lastly, they gained valuable experience in a senior accounting management position at The Walt Disney Company and as a Supervisor in Corporate Finance at WarnerMedia.
